The visionary music that will remain eternalĮvery single song in the jukebox of Rang De Basanti was melodious and ethereal. They made us hear the point loud and clear. Others including Soha Ali Khan, Madhavan, Om Puri, Alice Patten and Waheeda Rahman had such vibrant characteristic shades that it was hard not to notice each one of them.ģ. Similarly, the enmity shown between Aslam played by Kunal Kapoor and Lakshman Pandey played by Atul Kulkarni had a lot of realistic depth to it. While DJ played by Aamir Khan and Sukhi played by Sharman Joshi were the comic duo, Karan played by Siddharth was a spoilt brat whose character trajectory saw a lot of ups and down. Each and every cast member had contrasting personality traits that were depicted in the most beautiful manner. Neither was it a ‘ring leader and his side-kicks’ scenario.
